Our Philanthropy

At Alpha Phi, we support the Alpha Phi Foundation and Women's Heart Health. Alpha Phi is one of the few sororities at Oregon State to have an established foundation. Alpha Phi Foundation provides women across the nation with scholarships and promotes cardiac aid and education surrounding women's heart health. All money raised through Alpha Phi's philanthropy events are put toward this. Through the power of philanthropy, Alpha Phi works to improve and advance women's lives. 

RED DRESS GALA 

Alpha Phi Beta Upsilon hosts two main philanthropy events every year. The Red Dress Gala is Alpha Phi’s most important philanthropic event of the year. Festivities include a reception, dinner, and silent auction at an elegant venue. The Gala occurs over Fall Family Weekend, allowing us to spend that amazing time with our family and sisters. This past year we raised almost $20,000 at Red Dress Gala. The money raised supports women's heart health research and education. All the proceeds made go to the Alpha Phi Foundation which is in charge of the Heart to Heart Grant.
