Alpha Phi - Oregon State University

Our Philanthropy
Alpha Phi supports the Alpha Phi Foundation and its funding priorities:

-
Women's Heart Health: Alpha Phi Foundation was founded in 1956 and has been funding cardiac research and education through its flagship $100,00 Heart to Heart Grant, awarded annually.
-
Leadership Programming: Enriching leadership opportunities are a cornerstone of the Alpha Phi experience, helping sisters thrive at every stage of life. From the Disney Leadership Institute to educating members on topical issues such as mental health and career development, Alpha Phi offers these opportunities throughout the college experience and beyond.
-
Scholarship: Alpha Phi Foundation awards need and merit-based scholarships to undergraduate and graduate members annually.
-
Forget Me Not Grant - Emergency Assistance Fund: Alpha Phi Foundation grants financial assistance for collegians and alumnae during unexpected times of need. Most recently, the Foundation has supported members through Hurricane Helene and the January 2025 wildfires in Southern California.
-
Heritage: Alpha Phi Foundation has funded the digital preservation of Alpha Phi's storied history and has produced three published history books, documenting our first 150 years.
Alpha Phi is one of the few sororities at Oregon State to have its own 501(c)3 foundation. All money raised through our Chapter's philanthropy events are donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation. Beta Upsilon proudly hosts an annual Red Dress Gala, typically during Fall Family Weekend, and welcomes members' families, alumnae from across the country, Oregon State faculty and staff, and Corvallis community members.
